Cyprus tours

In Protaras, Paphos and Limassol, you can divide time between the beach and walks in different ways. Decide what you want near the hotel and what will need transport. The actual neighbourhood matters more than the resort name.

Ideas for your trip

Cyprus: villages, crafts and small discoveries

An interesting day does not need a dozen sights. Choose crafts, a mountain village or the coast, and leave time for whatever catches your attention.

Places for another story

Open a place that catches your eye to discover its character and ideas for your trip.

Places: 3
Lefkara: handmade details

Lefkara, at the foot of the Troodos Mountains, is known for lace embroidery and silver filigree. Narrow streets and terracotta-roofed houses make the village itself part of the experience.

Marathasa: Kalopanagiotis village

Kalopanagiotis lies in the Marathasa Valley in the Troodos Mountains. Traditional architecture, old churches and a stone Venetian bridge can give your visit a clear focus.

Polis and Latchi: a different coastal rhythm

The Polis area has an archaeological museum, while a coastal walkway leads from the beach by the campsite to Latchi Harbour. They offer two different themes for your day.

A day you will want to remember

Leave room for something new: a walk, time on the water, local stories and small discoveries.

Look closely at lace and silver

Consider Lefkara’s embroidery and silversmithing museum or handicraft centre. Seeing the craft adds more context than choosing a souvenir alone; check visiting hours beforehand.

Kalopanagiotis monastery and bridge

The monastery of Agios Ioannis Lampadistis contains Byzantine churches with frescoes. Add the old stone bridge to your visit instead of rushing through every Troodos village.

Along the coast to Latchi

Mark the coastal walkway to Latchi Harbour on your plan. Confirm the starting point before walking and choose a distance that suits your own pace.

Seasons

  • Cyprus generally has a long, dry summer from mid-May to mid-October and milder, wetter winters.

  • Coastal breezes and elevation affect conditions; winter snow is possible in Troodos.

Your beach and plans define the setting

These settings are planning pointers. Hotel details, package inclusions and availability for your dates depend on the actual offer.

Protaras

Fig Tree Bay has fine sand and resort facilities in the surrounding area.

The route from your actual hotel to the beach and the services you need.

Paphos area

Coral Bay is a sandy bay, while nearby stretches of coast also have rocky sections.

Do not assume that every hotel beach in the Paphos area matches Coral Bay.

Limassol

A city stay can be considered alongside Lady’s Mile beach in the area.

Picture your day on holiday

Wake up by the sea, linger over breakfast or head straight out to explore? Tell us how you like to spend a holiday. These few details will help you choose a stay that feels right for you.

Beach

Do you love a long swim or a walk along the shore? If children are coming, tell us what kind of water access works for them.

Before choosing a hotel, check the walk from your room to the water, including any steps, road or jetty. A beach photo may leave that part out.

Room

Does one person turn in early while another likes to read? A separate bedroom or the right bed layout can make the stay easier for everyone.

Save the exact name of the room you like, then check its beds and where everyone will sleep. An extra bed may be different from the main ones.

Meals

Days by the pool and long days out call for different meal plans. Start with how much time you want to spend at the hotel.

Check serving times and which drinks your plan includes. For a full-day outing, think ahead about where you will have breakfast and lunch.

Travellers and price

Tell us who is travelling, the children’s ages and the amount you would like to spend for everyone. If your dates are flexible, add that too.

When comparing options, look beyond the room. Check whether transport, luggage and transfers are included, and which costs you will pay during the trip.

Choose a location around your routine

For evening walks, find routes near your hotel. If the sea matters most, focus on the actual beach. For a party with different interests, decide what needs to be nearby and where you can travel separately.

  • The actual beach and water access
  • Quiet surroundings or a livelier area
  • Walks without daily transport
  • Transfers and meal inclusions

Compare the whole journey to the hotel

Check the arrival airport and transfer, not only flight duration. For your dates, confirm hotel services, meals and beach arrangements separately. A resort name does not confirm what is included.

Questions before you choose

How can I combine beach time with walks?

Mark the hotel, beach and places to walk on a map. If travel between them needs transport, include its time and cost in your trip plans.

What should I include in the total tour cost?

Use the same party, dates, room and meals. A per-person price differs from the total for everyone. Allow for included services and mandatory supplements.

Can I start without exact dates?

Yes. Write down your travel preferences and review them. Then click “Add contact details”, enter your phone number or email and send your enquiry. Check dates and other trip details before sending.

Where can I find entry document requirements?

Before travelling, check the destination, transit countries and carrier requirements for your documents and dates. Rules can change, so check them again closer to departure.
