From plans to a holiday

How we help plan your tour

DAMAX Travel is a travel agency for people who want to travel at their own pace. We help travellers from Ukraine choose holidays around their dates, budget and preferences.

  1. Tell us about your trip

Add a destination or an idea, your travel period, who is going and the budget to the wishes form. Include the details that matter most to you.

  2. Find options for your plans

The beach, room and meals should fit your trip. During tour selection, we discuss these details and the total price for everyone travelling.

  3. Clarify the details before booking

Availability, the full price and included services need to be agreed for the particular tour. No payment is required on the website.

  4. Prepare for your trip

We provide the documents for your booked tour. Before departure, check the names, dates and itinerary against your travel documents.

Questions before your trip

Travel, costs and the details that help you choose your holiday.

Which departure airport makes sense if I live in Ukraine?

Start with where you live and how much time you are comfortable spending on the road. Depending on your route, it is worth comparing available departures from Moldova, Poland or Romania, and other countries if needed. The airport and flight must match your dates and destination. Add travel to and from the airport, a possible overnight stay and expenses along the way to the tour price. Allow time for border crossings and check-in; one fixed buffer will not suit every journey. In your wishes, include your starting city, acceptable airports and whether overnight travel suits you. This helps compare the whole journey, not just the flight.

How can I work out the full holiday cost without unexpected extras?

Compare the total for everyone travelling, using the same dates and number of nights. Match the hotel, room category, meal plan and route first. Check flights, baggage, transfers and insurance. Confirm local taxes and payment currency. Add airport travel, seat selection, excursions and personal spending. A starting price or a per-person price based on two people sharing is not the budget for the whole family.

How do we choose a hotel that actually suits us?

Picture an ordinary day on holiday. Do you want quiet surroundings, lively evenings, a sandy sea entrance, a short walk to the beach or places to explore outside the hotel? Choose your three priorities, then check them against the actual offer. Check room category, beds, building. Beach: surface, sea entry, stairs, loungers. Room: view, size, balcony, noise. Check services and seasonal areas for your dates. Room requests need separate confirmation.

What should we consider when travelling with children?

Include the number of children and their ages at the time of travel. Mention any birthday during the holiday: airlines and hotels apply their own age and pricing rules. Next, think about the journey, sleep routines and room layout. Family rooms may lack separate bedrooms; extra beds vary. Check cots, sleeping areas, pushchair access and sea entry. For a kids’ club, confirm the age range, opening hours, booking requirements and any charges; discuss specific food needs as well. Include the details your family cannot comfortably do without, so they can be checked before you choose a tour.

Does all inclusive always mean everything is included?

Check the hotel concept and rate. All inclusive: restaurants, drinks and room service may have separate conditions. Confirm hours, reservations, extras and arrival/departure service. If you plan to explore and eat outside the hotel, compare breakfast-only or another meal plan that suits your days. Allergies and special diets need confirmation; menus and photos are insufficient. Choose your meal plan around how you actually want to spend your holiday.

Should I book early or wait for a last-minute offer?

Start looking early if you need a particular hotel, a family room, school-holiday dates or a narrow travel window. Last-minute offers are worth considering when you can prepare quickly and change the destination, hotel or departure day. Waiting alone does not guarantee a lower price or suitable availability. For early booking, check the promotion’s payment deadlines, change and cancellation terms. If your dates are flexible, include the acceptable period and number of nights in your request. Compare nearby dates alongside travel arrangements, meals and room category, so any saving still fits your plans.

Which travel documents should I check before booking?

Requirements depend on each traveller’s citizenship, country of residence, route, transit points and dates. Check passport validity and the required remaining validity, visa conditions and documents needed to enter, leave and return. For a child, separately check their travel document and the rules for accompanying adults, particularly when travelling with one parent or another adult. There is no single rule for every country and airline. Before paying, check your circumstances against current guidance from Ukraine’s State Border Guard Service, the relevant consulates and the carrier, then check for updates before travelling. If you live abroad, also consider the documents and conditions for returning to your country of residence. Passport copies are not needed for your initial holiday wishes.

What happens if I need to change or cancel my trip?

Your contract defines changes and cancellations. Before paying, check options, costs, refunds and contact procedures. Even with the same airline, changing a date or route and any extra charge can depend on the fare. Check your exact fare before paying. Report changed plans promptly, with acceptable alternatives. Get an extras or refund calculation before agreeing.

What should I look for in travel insurance?

Check policy inclusion, insured travellers, countries and dates. Cover the whole route, including airport travel both ways. Read the insured amount, limits, excess, exclusions and assistance procedure. Confirm diving and other planned activities with the insurer. Medical cover does not automatically include cancellation, delays or baggage. Save the policy number and assistance contacts; learn the procedure. If already abroad, check whether a policy can be issued.

We have not chosen a destination yet. Where do we start?

Start with what you already know: who is travelling, when you can go, where the journey begins and the budget for everyone. Then add a few priorities: a quiet beach, time with children, a private villa, city walks or a mix of experiences. The form lets you choose a flexible period and describe details you still need help deciding. Our Maldives and Turkey guides explain the differences within each destination and let you collect interests as you read. Review your wishes before the next step and update anything that has changed. Passport and payment details are not needed for this draft.

Does a request on this website book a tour?

No. A request describes your wishes, and reviewing the draft does not reserve a hotel, flight seats or a price. Confirm availability, total price, services, payment and contract. If the preferred option is no longer available, compare any alternative by room, meals and route, not just the hotel name. Keep confirmation of the agreed conditions and check the details in your travel documents before departure. Creating your wishes on this website does not require payment.

Bring what matters to you into one request. Your destination and details can take shape during planning.
