Privacy policy

In effect from 4 November 2026.

A short, plain account of the data you trust DAMAX Travel with when you look for and book a trip, why we need it and what happens to it.

Who is responsible for your data

The controller of your personal data is Dmytro Volodymyrovych Zuiev, a sole proprietor registered in Ukraine (ФОП Зуєв Дмитро Володимирович), trading as DAMAX Travel. For any question about your data, message us.

What data we receive

  • Enquiry. In the enquiry form you give a phone number or email and may add your name, destination, travel dates and length, the number of adults and children, the children’s ages and a comment, which also carries your wishes from the trip planner. The form is provided by the TAT service: its data goes to TAT and from there to us.
  • Messages. When you write to us on Telegram, Viber or WhatsApp, we see your name and number or username in the messenger and what you write.
  • Booking. If you decide to buy a trip, we ask separately for the travellers’ details needed for the contract and booking, including children’s: usually surnames, first names, dates of birth and passport details. They are provided by the person booking the trip; they are not entered on the site.
  • Technical data. When you open the site, the hosting provider receives your IP address, browser details and the page address - the site cannot open without them. When you search for tours, your browser contacts the TAT service, which shows the results.
  • Statistics - only with your consent. Google Analytics shows us which pages are opened, where visitors come from and on which devices, roughly which cities and countries, and how many go on to messengers or send enquiries - never the content of an enquiry.
  • The wish draft in the trip planner is kept only in your browser until you send the enquiry or reset the draft. On a shared device, reset it before you leave.

No payments are made on the site, and the site collects no payment data. Please do not put passport or payment details in the enquiry comment.

Why we use data and on what basis

  • To find a trip and answer your enquiry - because you ask us to.
  • To conclude and perform the travel services contract.
  • To keep records and documents as the law requires.
  • To keep the site running and protect it from attacks - our legitimate interest.
  • To count visits so we can improve the site, and to send offers - only with your consent.

Who else receives data

We do not sell your data. It goes only to those we cannot work without:

  • the TAT service (tat.ua) - tour search, the enquiry form and the CRM where we keep enquiries; notifications about them arrive in our Gmail mailbox (Google);
  • Telegram, Viber and WhatsApp - when you write to us; they process messages under their own rules;
  • Vercel hosting - the site runs on its server in Frankfurt (Germany);
  • Google - Google Analytics statistics, only with your consent;
  • the tour operator - if you buy a trip: it books the trip and passes the necessary data to the hotel, carrier and insurer, and to the consulate for a visa;
  • public authorities - only when the law requires it.

Transfers abroad

A trip abroad is impossible without passing travellers’ data to a hotel and a carrier in another country. Vercel, Google and the messengers may process data on servers in EU countries, the USA and other countries. We transfer abroad only what the trip or these services need.

How long we keep data

  • Enquiries, messages and notes about your request - 3 years after you last contacted us, then we delete them.
  • Documents of a concluded contract - as long as the law requires, including for tax records.
  • Google Analytics statistics - 14 months; after that only general reports, not linked to visitors, remain in Google.
  • Hosting technical logs - a short period needed to run and protect the site, under Vercel’s rules.
  • Data in your browser - as described in the cookies section below.

Your rights

You can:

  • find out whether we process your data, why and who receives it, and get a copy;
  • correct inaccurate data;
  • ask us to delete your data or restrict its processing;
  • object to processing;
  • withdraw consent to statistics or mailings at any time - this does not make processing before the withdrawal unlawful;
  • complain to the Ukrainian Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights or to a court, and if you live in the EU, also to your country’s data protection authority.

How to use your rights

Message us from the number or account you used for your enquiry or messages to us - this way we can be sure it is you; if that is not possible, we will agree how to confirm it. Within 10 working days we will tell you how we will handle the request, and we will complete it no later than 30 days after you contacted us. It is free.

If you ask us to delete your data, we delete the enquiry in the CRM, emails with it, messages and notes about you and tell you what has been done. Documents of a concluded contract that the law requires us to keep remain until that period ends and are used for nothing else - we will say so in our reply.

Cookies and data in your browser

The site keeps in your browser only what it needs to work. Google Analytics cookies appear only after you consent.

  • DAMAX_LOCALE - the language you chose; 1 year.
  • damax_consent_v1 - your choice about statistics, so we do not ask every time; 12 months, then we ask again.
  • damax_theme - light or dark theme; until you clear the site’s data.
  • damax_enquiry_v1 - the wish draft; until you send the enquiry or reset it.
  • os-search - your latest tour search conditions in the TAT module; 7 days.
  • _ga, _ga_1X8NMQEPX9 - Google Analytics, only with your consent: they tell visitors and visits apart; up to 1 year after your last visit.

You can change your choice at any time - with the button below or “Cookie settings” at the bottom of every page. If you decline, we delete the Google Analytics cookies from your browser.

Google’s advertising features are turned off: the statistics are not used for advertising. To learn how Google handles data, see “How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services”.

Mailings

Messages about your enquiry or trip are part of our service. Promotional offers, such as last-minute deals, are sent rarely and only to those who agreed to receive them. You can opt out at any time: write “stop” in the same chat.

Changes to this policy

If the policy changes, we will update this page and the date at the top. If something you consented to changes, we will ask for your consent again.
