UAE tours

Dubai, Abu Dhabi or Ras Al Khaimah: a beach resort and a city base make different holidays. Decide how much time you want by the sea and in the city. The location, beach access and meals should fit those plans.

Ideas for your holiday

The Emirates beyond the skyline

You need not spend the whole holiday between the beach and a shopping mall. Choose one outing that changes the scenery of your day. Leave time for details, conversation and a quiet stop, rather than just transfers.

Places for another story

Open a place that catches your eye to discover its character and ideas for your trip.

Places: 3
Al Ain: a walk through an oasis

In Al Ain Oasis, paths run beneath date palms and falaj channels carry water to the planting. Look at the everyday logic of life in a desert: where the shade comes from, how the water moves and why a garden needs such care.

Jebel Jais: a mountain landscape

The road towards Jebel Jais in Ras Al Khaimah winds through rocky slopes and deep ravines. Viewpoints take in the Hajar Mountains, desert scenery and the Gulf. A scenic drive can be your first introduction; plan a walking route separately.

Mleiha: a desert full of stories

At Mleiha in Sharjah, the archaeological centre presents the desert as a place of human history. Ancient tombs lie nearby, and Fossil Rock holds marine fossils. Begin with the exhibits: the surrounding rocks and sand feel different once you know their story.

A day you will want to remember

Leave room for something new: a walk, time on the water, local stories and small discoveries.

Follow the story of water

Start with the Eco-Centre’s explanations, then look at the channels among the palms. Water levels can change with the season.

Stop for the view

Distinguish a viewpoint outing from a mountain hike. Check the stops and the preparation required for your chosen activity.

An exhibition and one outdoor stop

Pair the centre with a guided visit to an archaeological site. Check which places are included in your chosen route.

Three starting points for your stay

Start with the setting, then check accommodation and travel details for the particular tour. A resort name does not confirm availability or package inclusions.

Dubai

City plans can be combined with public beaches and beach hotels.

Whether the beach is at the hotel or requires a journey, and distances to your city plans.

Abu Dhabi

Different beach locations include the Corniche and Saadiyat Island.

The neighbourhood, beach access and transport.

Ras Al Khaimah

An emirate with a sandy coastline and mountain landscapes elsewhere in the region.

The resort location, arrival airport and travel arrangements for any days out.

Picture your day on holiday

Wake up by the sea, linger over breakfast or head straight out to explore? Tell us how you like to spend a holiday. These few details will help you choose a stay that feels right for you.

Beach

Do you love a long swim or a walk along the shore? If children are coming, tell us what kind of water access works for them.

Before choosing a hotel, check the walk from your room to the water, including any steps, road or jetty. A beach photo may leave that part out.

Room

Does one person turn in early while another likes to read? A separate bedroom or the right bed layout can make the stay easier for everyone.

Save the exact name of the room you like, then check its beds and where everyone will sleep. An extra bed may be different from the main ones.

Meals

Days by the pool and long days out call for different meal plans. Start with how much time you want to spend at the hotel.

Check serving times and which drinks your plan includes. For a full-day outing, think ahead about where you will have breakfast and lunch.

Travellers and price

Tell us who is travelling, the children’s ages and the amount you would like to spend for everyone. If your dates are flexible, add that too.

When comparing options, look beyond the room. Check whether transport, luggage and transfers are included, and which costs you will pay during the trip.

Match the address to your daily plans

If the sea comes first, compare actual beach access and the services you need. For city days, check routes to your chosen places. The emirate name does not explain daily distances between your hotel, beach and sights.

  • A beach hotel or a city base
  • Actual access to the sea
  • Distances to your planned stops
  • Meals and services charged separately

Clarify what the price includes

Meals, beach shuttles and entry to a separate beach may have their own terms. Compare these with the package, baggage and airport transfer. Check weather and service availability for your dates without assuming year-round conditions.

Questions before you choose

Can a city hotel work for a beach holiday?

Yes, if the journey to the sea works for you. For an advertised beach transfer, establish its schedule, duration, cost and the access rules for the actual beach.

What should I include in the total tour cost?

Use the same party, dates, room and meals. A per-person price differs from the total for everyone. Allow for included services and mandatory supplements.

Can I start without exact dates?

Yes. Write down your travel preferences and review them. Then click “Add contact details”, enter your phone number or email and send your enquiry. Check dates and other trip details before sending.

Where can I find entry document requirements?

Before travelling, check the destination, transit countries and carrier requirements for your documents and dates. Rules can change, so check them again closer to departure.
