Türkiye tours
From Antalya’s resorts to Marmaris, Göcek and the Aegean coast, Türkiye offers very different beach holidays. Compare regions, hotels, villas and cultural outings, then save what matters to you for your tour request.
Sea, character, your pace
Find your own Türkiye
A lively family resort, a quiet villa by a bay, or a few days in Istanbul? Start with the holiday you want. Then bring the coast, hotel and experiences together into one trip.
Read in any order. Add, change or skip wishes; choosing an idea does not order a tour.
The circle shows your position in the text. Contents labels show the topics where you added wishes. Reading does not require making a choice.
Chapter 1 of 6Holiday style
What should a day by the sea feel like?
Start with what makes a holiday work for you: the beach, quiet, your children’s routine, dining or privacy. Choose two or three priorities before comparing star ratings.

A stay at your own pace
The route to the sea, a comfortable room and clear inclusions shape your everyday stay. Set these priorities before focusing on stars and price.
Everything can look ideal in photographs. Sleep, the route to the beach, dining and space for the family determine how it feels for you. Work through these questions before choosing a hotel.
There is a kids’ club, but will it suit your child?
Age limits or unsuitable hours can leave parents without the break they had planned.
For families, slides are only part of the picture. Check club age groups, hours, supervision, beach shade and bed arrangements. Add each child’s age in the planner.
Want to sleep well without the evening soundtrack?
An attractive room near an entertainment area can be a poor match for early nights.
Ask about a room away from stages, evening events and service areas. A quiet hotel and a quiet room location are two different requests.
The photo shows sand, but what is the sea entry like?
A pebbly seabed or pier access can change the beach day your family expected.
A resort area’s name does not describe every hotel beach. Check the shore and seabed, beach or pier access, and whether the swimming setup suits your children.
Does “all inclusive” include what you enjoy?
Supplements or restaurant booking friction can turn the freedom you expected into daily planning.
Compare inclusions: reservation restaurants, drinks, service hours, room service and extra charges. Hotels within the same brand can have different terms.
Do you want privacy, or just more space?
Swim-up access, a shared pool and a separate villa offer different levels of privacy.
A villa may be a separate house or a category within a larger resort. Compare floor plans, neighbours, bedrooms, private or shared pools, and terrace privacy.
Chapter 2 of 6Coasts and Istanbul
Which coast fits your holiday?
Start with the coast and your holiday rhythm. Antalya, the southwest bays and the Aegean coast offer different bases; a city address in İzmir is not a beach address in Çeşme. Open a region to compare the sea, nearby outings and practical trade-offs.

Choose the coast, then the hotel location
Antalya coast
Southwest bays
City break
These are coastal areas to compare, with Istanbul as a city stay. Choose the actual bay and hotel address before planning airports and excursions; the map groups nearby places, not identical holidays.
Lara and Kundu
Lara’s sandy shore is in the Antalya area. Compare Kundu resorts by their individual location.
To combine resort days with city walks, compare routes to Kaleiçi. Check airport travel for the actual hotel, rather than assuming the whole area is equally close.
Belek
Belek is known for golf courses and resort holidays on the Antalya coast.
Start here to compare large luxury resorts and villas. For golf, check the course, tee times, transport and access terms; a hotel stay alone does not include a round.
Side
Ancient Side brings archaeological sites and the coast together.
Location matters: a hotel near the old town and a resort in a neighbouring settlement offer different evenings. Check the route to the old town and the actual beach.
Kemer and Tekirova
The Kemer area lies by the Taurus Mountains; Phaselis is in Tekirova.
Consider this base for greenery and ancient sites. Check pebbles, any sandy hotel areas and pier access before choosing a beach setup.
Alanya
Alanya’s castle, Red Tower and historic shipyard add a city story to time by the sea.
Compare Alanya itself with surrounding resort areas. Check the arrival airport and onward journey separately; offers using different airports are different itineraries.
Bodrum
Bodrum combines the peninsula’s bays with a castle and an underwater archaeology museum.
Choose between staying in a bay and spending time in town. Check slopes, stairs, internal shuttles, beach or platform access, and the dining plan.
Marmaris and İçmeler
Marmaris combines a harbour, marina and old centre with a castle museum. İçmeler Beach lies nearby; boat trips from Marmaris harbour explore bays and Turunç.
Consider it for sea, town walks and boat days. Check whether the hotel is in the centre, İçmeler or a separate bay; compare its beach, evening activity and airport journey.
Hotels to compare
Datça and Bozburun
Datça offers peninsula coves, the stone streets of its old town and ancient Knidos. Bozburun is known for gulet building; both peninsulas form sections of the Carian Trail.
Consider coves, sailing and smaller settlements. Choose a specific base first: reaching Knidos, a beach or a pier depends on where you stay. A regional name does not guarantee quiet.
Kuşadası and Selçuk
Kuşadası combines a harbour, Güvercinada Castle and coast near Dilek Peninsula National Park. Ephesus and its archaeological museum are associated with Selçuk.
Consider combining the sea with ancient sites. Choose a beach base and a separate cultural day in Selçuk; check the journey from your hotel, itinerary, admission tickets and arrangements for children.
Hotels to compare
İzmir, Çeşme and Alaçatı
İzmir offers the urban Kordon waterfront; Çeşme brings peninsula beaches and a castle; Alaçatı has stone streets and windsurfing. Alaçatı’s centre is separate from its seafront.
Consider a mix of city life, restaurants and beach days. Prioritise staying in İzmir, by a Çeşme beach or in Alaçatı; check beach access, wind conditions and the beach club’s arrangements.
Hotels to compare
Didim and Akbük
Didim has the sandy Altınkum Beach; Akbük is a separate coastal area. Regional cultural interests include the Temple of Apollo in Didim and ancient Miletus.
Consider sea time with a separate day for ancient sites. Compare the activity around Altınkum with your hotel’s location in Akbük; check its beach, dining arrangements, arrival airport and the journey to the ruins.
Ayvalık and Cunda
Cunda, also called Alibey, is linked to Ayvalık by a bridge. It has stone houses, a museum in Taksiyarhis Church and local cuisine; Şeytan Sofrası overlooks the archipelago.
Consider walks, food and sea time. Distinguish staying in town, on Cunda or by a specific beach; check sea entry, access to the centre and your arrival airport.
Kaş and Kalkan
Kaputaş lies between Kaş and Kalkan; nearby cultural interests include Patara, Xanthos and Letoon. Boat itineraries along this coast can include Kekova.
Consider coves, boat days and ancient sites. Check access from your accommodation to the beach and pier, whether you need a car, and the excursion’s departure point; agree on a weather-dependent itinerary.
Sarıgerme and Dalyan
Sarıgerme is a sandy beach in Ortaca. Near Dalyan, protected İztuzu Beach separates the delta from the sea; regional cultural interests include Kaunos and rock tombs.
Consider beach time with a separate day in Dalyan. Check your accommodation base, the journey to the river, beach access and protected-area rules; treat turtle sightings as a possibility rather than a promised event.
Hotels to compare
Fethiye and Göcek
Ölüdeniz lies in the Fethiye area; Göcek is a separate base for bays and boat trips.
Distinguish a lagoon-trip base from a bayside villa. A sea view does not mean Ölüdeniz is within walking distance.
Istanbul
The historic peninsula and the Bosphorus offer two different sides of a city break.
Add separate city nights. Compare hotel districts, sightseeing routes and flight connections to the coast.
The beach you will actually use
Compare the shore and the route to it, how you enter the water and the atmosphere you want. A beautiful overview cannot answer all three questions.
Quiet and lively areas within one resort
D Maris Bay describes Zuma x Silence as an 18+ beach without music, while La Guérite offers DJs and a livelier atmosphere. These are different areas of one particular resort. Access arrangements and charges need checking against the offer.
What to check
Describe your preferred rhythm before selection: quiet throughout the day, a peaceful place for a child’s nap or music and an active beach club. Ask which area fits, who can use it and how to reach it from the room. Check cabanas, sunbeds, restaurants and internal transport separately. Having a suitable area does not establish that the place or service you want is included with your category.
Assess the shore and water separately
For your swimming needs, ask about the surface at the waterline, seabed, slope and entry method. If sand or a gently sloping entry matters, request information about the hotel’s actual beach area rather than just the region.
What to check
Ask for recent waterline photographs and the route from the room. Check whether steps, a pier, water shoes or a trip to another beach would be needed, and whether that suits everyone. For small children, describe the need for shade, a short walk and an easy exit from the water. If one traveller swims confidently and another wants to stand on the seabed, include both wishes. “Beautiful sea” does not convey that difference.
Chapter 3 of 6Hotels and private villas
Luxury with a clear shape
This is a comparison shortlist, without a “best hotels” ranking. Large resorts, intimate bays and private villa clubs meet different needs. Choose properties to explore, then compare categories and terms for your dates.

Resorts on the Antalya coast
Compare the beach you need, routes around the grounds, the children’s routine and the actual room category. A broad range of facilities matters when you intend to use them.
Maxx Royal Belek Golf Resort
Belek: suites, lagoon suites and villas, with family facilities and golf.
What to check
Check the route from your category to the beach and the golf terms; a course in a photograph does not mean a round is included.
Maxx Royal Kemer
Kiriş, Kemer area: suites, lagoon suites and seaside villas.
What to check
Compare villas and suites by layout and privacy, and beach areas by how well they suit your group.
Voyage Belek Golf & Spa
Belek: family rooms, bungalows, Lagoon Duplex Swim-up, children’s and water areas.
What to check
Swim-up does not guarantee a private pool; check the layout and water-area rules.
Titanic Deluxe Golf Belek
Kadriye, beside the Beşgöz River: rooms, swim-up categories and Exclusive Pool Villa.
What to check
Check the route to the beach and golf terms. A riverside setting does not mean the room is directly on the seafront.
Mardan Palace
Kundu, Antalya: a palace-style setting and Palace All Inclusive; some speciality restaurants carry supplements.
What to check
Check the current concept and included restaurants, not old Titanic Mardan Palace descriptions.
NG Phaselis Bay
Kemer area: bays, a beach and NG King Villa with a private pool and garden.
What to check
Compare standard categories and villas by location and included services.
Cullinan Belek
Kadriye, Belek: beach facilities, family categories, swim-up and golf.
What to check
Compare the seasonal concept, restaurant supplements and golf access. For swim-up rooms, check whether the pool is shared.

Bays on the western coast
Start with the exact bay and address, then check the shore, terrain, dining and outings beyond the grounds. Your preferred view and a convenient daily route need separate checks.
Maxx Royal Bodrum
Gölköy, Bodrum: suites, lagoon suites and villas with private pools and gardens.
What to check
Check dining, restaurants and category privileges; do not automatically apply Belek’s terms to Bodrum.
Mandarin Oriental, Bodrum
Paradise Bay: rooms, suites, apartments and villas, including categories with private pools.
What to check
Compare more than the nightly rate: dining inclusions and restaurant spending shape the full holiday budget.
Voyage Torba
Torba, Bodrum: a sandy beach, family categories and swim-up rooms.
What to check
Voyage Torba Private is a separate product; check which property and category your offer names.
Titanic Luxury Collection Bodrum
Güvercinlik Bay: a seafront resort with its own beach.
What to check
Compare room location, routes through the grounds and your preferred evening pace.
D Maris Bay
D Maris Bay in Hisarönü, Marmaris district, on the Datça Peninsula: private beach areas and a boat shuttle between them.
What to check
Choose the Marmaris region card: this is a bay resort outside town. Compare its beach areas and your transfer route.
Lujo Hotel Bodrum
Güvercinlik, Bodrum: an Art & Joy concept, à la carte dining and a beach club.
What to check
Check restaurant reservations and category privileges; not all areas have the same access terms.
D-Resort Göcek
D-Resort Göcek in Göcek, Fethiye district, offers a beach, marina, rooms and suites, including categories with pool access.
What to check
Choose Fethiye / Göcek for your wishes. Compare room categories and pool access; pool access does not mean a private pool.
Hilton Dalaman Sarigerme Resort & Golf
Hilton Dalaman Sarigerme Resort & Golf in Sarıgerme is an all-inclusive resort with a beach and spa, with suites offering extra space.
What to check
Consider Sarıgerme in the Dalaman area. For a family, compare bedroom layouts and the selected suite’s terms.
Liberty Lykia
Liberty Lykia in Ölüdeniz, Fethiye district, offers family rooms, children’s playgrounds and a beach area for children.
What to check
Compare family-focused Liberty Lykia and Liberty Lykia Adults Only separately. For children, check room layout and club terms.
Swissôtel Resort & Spa, Çeşme
Swissôtel Resort & Spa, Çeşme in Ilıca offers rooms and suites on the Çeşme coast, with thermal and thalasso pools at its spa.
What to check
For beach time, choose the Çeşme coast in the İzmir region. Check which spa services your rate includes.
Biblos Resort Alaçatı
Biblos Resort Alaçatı on the Alaçatı coast offers a beach, rooms and suites, Alatia SPA and a kids club.
What to check
Alaçatı is on the Çeşme coast in İzmir province. Compare room categories and dining terms.
Charisma De Luxe Hotel
Charisma De Luxe Hotel in Kuşadası offers rooms with different views and suites; Opal Suite has a bedroom and living room.
What to check
Compare full and partial sea views and whether there is a balcony: these details depend on room category.
Six Senses Kaplankaya
Six Senses Kaplankaya in Bozbük, Milas district, offers private beaches, a spa, rooms, suites and residences; selected categories have a private pool.
What to check
This is the Milas coast across the bay from Bodrum. For a trip including Didim, compare transfers, accommodation category and spa terms.

Club Privé and villas: compare the category
Compare bedrooms with doors, sleeping arrangements, terrace visibility and a private or shared pool. Confirm services and resort access for the category named in the offer.
Not every club category has an individual pool. Ask for the villa plan, private area details and inclusions for the exact category name.
Club Privé by Rixos Belek
Villa Privé has its own garden and pool; Club Villa offers a different type of pool access.
What to check
The Club Privé name alone does not define pool privacy. Compare the exact names and floor plans of the categories.
Rixos Premium Tekirova · Villas
Executive Villa has three bedrooms and Superior Villa four; the villas are in Tekirova.
What to check
Do not confuse them with Pool Villa. Match the bedroom plan and pool arrangement to your group.
Rixos Sungate · Club Diamond
Beldibi: Club Diamond, Executive categories and Poseidon Presidential Villa.
What to check
Pool access is not the same as an individual pool. Ask about your exact Executive category or villa.
Club Privé by Rixos Göcek
Göcek: villas with private pools and butler service.
What to check
For a family stay, check age rules for neighbouring Rixos Premium Göcek and its restaurants separately.

Istanbul: a luxurious city pause
For city nights, compare the address, preferred view, daily routes and onward connection to the coast. Choose the Bosphorus or historic centre by how the stay fits your itinerary as well as the photographs.
Mandarin Oriental Bosphorus, Istanbul
Kuruçeşme: an urban hotel on the European shore of the Bosphorus, with rooms and suites.
What to check
This offers a different stay from Mandarin Oriental in Bodrum. Check the journey to the historic peninsula and the room views you want.
Four Seasons Hotel Istanbul at the Bosphorus
Beşiktaş: a Bosphorus waterfront hotel with rooms, suites and a spa.
What to check
Do not confuse it with Four Seasons Sultanahmet. Compare the address, sightseeing routes and your preferred view category.
Your room category shapes the day
Floor area, views, separate bedrooms and pool access describe different things. Check the exact category and floor plan as well as the hotel photographs.
The view and quietness are two wishes
If you go to bed early, nap during the day or are sensitive to sound, describe that separately from your preferred view. Ask where the category sits relative to the stage, restaurants, road, lifts and service areas.
What to check
Compare the balcony, window orientation and routes to important facilities on the site plan. Check whether the quiet building is a bookable category or a request, and how the hotel confirms preferences. Do not read “sea view” as a promise of quietness, proximity to the beach or an uninterrupted panorama. If sleep matters more than the scenery, say so clearly. If both matter, keep them as two selection criteria.
Steps, pushchairs and daily routes
When travelling with a pushchair or mobility needs, check the entire route from drop-off to the room, restaurant, pool and beach. One lift or a spacious room does not answer questions about all those journeys.
What to check
Ask for a plan and precise answers about steps, slopes, lifts, ramps and path surfaces. Check doors, the shower and required grab rails; give your equipment dimensions where relevant. If internal transport is needed, check boarding, the schedule and whether it can carry the pushchair. Confirm essential accessibility for the actual category and route to the sea. A general “accessible” label is insufficient for your decision.
Family space and shared water
Titanic Deluxe Golf Belek describes Family Pool Suite Swim-up as two bedrooms with their own bathrooms and a terrace opening directly onto a communal pool. The category description confirms separate bedrooms; direct access does not mean a private pool.
What to check
Ask where each guest sleeps, which doors separate sleeping areas and how bathrooms are used. If a child goes to bed earlier, check whether adults can use their area without passing through the child’s bedroom. State any need to control access to water. Compare the plan and everyday use of space as well as the floor area and “family” label.
A private pool does not define the whole package
Rixos describes Villa Privé with four bedrooms and bathrooms, a private garden and an outdoor pool. Heating is subject to seasonal conditions. These features concern Villa Privé itself, not every category carrying the Club Privé name.
What to check
The exact name, plan and number of bedrooms should match the offer. Ask separately about terrace visibility, staff access, neighbouring plots and the pool calendar. Confirm which category privileges apply on your dates; an old description or the word “private” does not establish current inclusions. For a group, compare privacy in each bedroom and communal space as well as the size of the building.
Compare Club Villa and Villa Privé
Rixos describes Club Villa with three bedrooms, three bathrooms, a kitchen and its own sun deck. Its large pool is shared by all Club Villa guests.
What to check
Before comparing, request the exact name and plan, then check who shares the water and other areas. State your privacy needs, bedroom count and preferred dining separately. Direct access may matter more than having a pool to yourselves, or the reverse. Choose your priority instead of drawing a conclusion from the overall Club Privé brand.
What your offer actually includes
The dining, childcare, pool or beach cabana you want should be clearly covered by the offer. An expensive room does not remove the need to check the inclusions.
A child’s age changes the club enquiry
Maxxi Land at Maxx Royal Belek separates its programmes by age: babysitting for 1-3, Mini for 4-7 and Junior for 8-12. These are one club’s arrangements, not rules for all hotels. Participation conditions and costs need separate confirmation.
What to check
Give each child’s age during the trip, the hours of care you need and whether you can remain nearby. Ask about supervision, booking, activity languages and payment. If you expect a break without your child, check that particular arrangement rather than just the existence of a club. For siblings of different ages, ask whether they can stay together or need separate groups, as this affects your family’s schedule.
Compare the total for the same holiday
Use the same party, dates, number of nights, room category and meals. Check the total for required baggage, all transfers, mandatory payments and the services you already intend to add.
What to check
Ask for one list of what is included, what needs booking and what is paid separately. Name important restaurants, drinks, room service, beach arrangements and children’s services. Check payment dates, settlement currency, change and cancellation conditions and the confirmation document. An offer with a lower starting amount may serve different preferences. Compare equivalent arrangements instead of deciding from the price beside a photograph.
Dietary needs require a specific answer
If you have an allergy or an essential diet, describe the exact restrictions before choosing a hotel. Ask about ingredients, preparation and avoiding unwanted contact. A “children’s” or “diet” menu does not answer every question.
What to check
Request a written response about your needs and a clear contact for arrangements on arrival. Discuss strict medical restrictions with your clinician rather than treating restaurant advertising as a safety guarantee. If suitable food is needed beyond main meals, ask about snacks, outing days and late arrival. Give the adviser a concrete situation that can be checked instead of the general request for “good food”.
Communal heating and the pool beside your room
Titanic Deluxe Golf Belek heats selected communal pools in winter, subject to weather. Private and semi-private room and villa pools are not heated or used in winter.
What to check
Check the particular water area rather than a general “heated pool” claim. Specify indoor or outdoor swimming, children’s access and whether the water beside your room is essential. Ask for an answer for the actual dates and an alternative if the area you need is closed. Compare categories against the swimming available to you; direct access alone does not answer the seasonal question.
One dinner, different category conditions
Lujo’s KUU restaurant page requires dinner reservations and a per-person cover charge, while exempting Edition guests from that charge. These are one restaurant’s category conditions. They do not establish rules for every restaurant or other hotels’ all-inclusive packages.
What to check
Name important dinners before selection and check inclusions, reservations, available days, limits and any service charge. Where a category brings a dining privilege, compare its price with your actual dining plans. For a short holiday, ask when tables can be reserved. A dinner photograph on the hotel website does not establish that your desired visit is guaranteed.
Toddler care is separate from a club programme
Lujo’s Kids & Teens page describes Kijo Academy and paid babysitting from 24 months. A range of activities does not establish free individual care or suitability for a younger child. Check the arrangements for your child’s age.
What to check
Ask about the admission age on the trip dates, the supervision you need and total cost. Confirm whether care is available for your child’s actual age. Check reservations, communication languages and whether parents can remain nearby. Separate joint activities, care hours and naps in the family schedule, so that an expected adult break rests on confirmed arrangements.
Guest experiences: why impressions differ
These are individual trips, not rankings or complaint statistics. The month, children’s ages, room category and personal expectations help identify useful questions before booking.
Maxx Royal Belek: an April family stay
In April 2026, Burak stayed in a Family Suite Terrace Laguna with children aged 6-11 and 12-15. He praised separate sleeping areas, service and the club. He personally found the pool beside the room cold and the heated communal pool busy.
The month, children’s ages and named category provide useful questions to check, not a temperature guarantee.
What to check
If you want to use the water directly beside your room, ask for that pool’s operating calendar and heating arrangements. Check the backup pool, route and children’s access separately. For a family room, confirm doors between sleeping areas, bathrooms and bed placement. Specify whether direct water access, warm swimming or a separate room for each sleep schedule matters most.
Maxx Royal Belek: a different age and different expectations
In September 2026, Ridvan stayed in a Suite Land View with a two-year-old. He rated the food, room and personally warm pools highly, but considered the provision for ages 1-3 weaker and described uneven service in the main restaurant.
This is a different family, category and month; older children’s positive experiences do not automatically answer a toddler’s needs.
What to check
For a toddler, ask about care, parent participation, naps and meals at suitable times. If adults need a break without supervising their child, describe the required duration and check that arrangement beforehand. For older children, check their actual activities rather than the number of play areas. Compare your daily routine with the programme offered for the trip dates.
Voyage Torba: a couple in June
May travelled as a couple in June 2026; no category was stated. She praised the design, food and assistant but found the beach noisy, the stony water entry uncomfortable for her and sunbeds difficult to find. This describes her particular stay.
A sandy shoreline photograph and personally comfortable water entry answer different questions. Quietness also depends on expectations.
What to check
For a couple’s trip, describe the desired pace alongside the star category. Ask about the beach area, water entry, quiet spots and sunbed or cabana arrangements. Treat nearby music as a separate selection criterion if it would be unacceptable. Do not extend one June experience to all of Bodrum or every room. Use it to ask precise questions about your own offer.
Voyage Torba: a family in May
In May 2026, Nicolai spent 12 days with three families and children aged 10 and 13; no category was stated. He praised the sea, beach areas and quick orders. He felt paid restaurants were worthwhile but wanted more activities for ages 9-12.
Accepting a restaurant supplement is a personal choice. One family’s comfortable experience does not invalidate another couple’s needs.
What to check
For a group, check arrangements for shared tables, nearby rooms and different children’s age groups. Specify activities the children actually want and a budget for separate dinners. Ask about reservations, visit limits and dining together. Gather everyone’s expectations for quietness, swimming and meals before booking, so that one criterion does not stand in for the needs of the whole group.
D Maris Bay: quietness can mean different things
John travelled as a couple in July 2026, staying in Deluxe Sea View, and valued the views, food and quiet or lively areas. Eda T., travelling with friends in May 2026 with no category stated, praised the bay and team but wanted more activities and found extras expensive.
Both accounts describe particular trips. “Peaceful enough” and “too few activities” can reflect different expectations.
What to check
Distinguish a wish for privacy from the need for daily activities and outings. Explain which evenings you want to spend at the hotel and what you are willing to pay extra for. Ask for the event calendar, restaurants and access to desired areas on your dates. For a remote base, check outings and transport separately rather than using photographs of a nearby town to imagine your daily rhythm.
Club Privé Belek: service and the package boundaries
On Accor, Tameem’s family review dated 30 May 2026 praised sport, shows and dining for children aged 11 and 12. Pascal’s family review dated 2 November 2025 praised the grounds but questioned booking clarity and a separate airport VIP charge. Neither category was stated.
These are two guests’ assessments, not evidence of how often problems occur or of current service prices.
What to check
Separate hotel service from travel and airport privileges. Ask for a written list of your category’s services, how to arrange them and the complete cost of the desired package. Returning to a familiar brand does not establish that previous conditions or personal arrangements apply. Check transfers, meeting arrangements, lounge access and children’s needs as individual items so that “VIP” has a clear meaning for you.
Swissôtel Çeşme: two April family experiences
Voyager16286925569, visiting with a 17-month-old in April 2026, praised the welcome and cleaning but reported uncomfortable room cooling and limited beach service. After an April family stay, Lale S. praised the club and restaurant team. Categories were unstated; the platform translated the reviews.
The same month does not establish the same needs or experience. These are examples, not findings about every room or the coast.
What to check
Before an early season trip, confirm the room cooling or heating you need, the beach service calendar and the programme for your child’s age. Describe sleep and swimming needs separately. Where a facility is essential, request confirmation for the dates and category in your offer. A contrasting positive review cannot replace that answer.
Titanic Belek: the beach and how you swim
Yaren, travelling as a couple in August 2026 with no category stated, praised dining, service, the beach and sea at Titanic Deluxe Golf Belek. She noted quickly deepening water and frequent waves, while finding the spa noisy with children. This is one stay’s experience.
A positive beach assessment does not automatically answer a question about gentle entry or required quietness in another area.
What to check
Specify how each person wants to swim: standing on the seabed, swimming or entering from a pier. Check the hotel’s shore and entry. For the spa, explain the need for quiet and confirm age rules in the desired areas. Use this August account to clarify criteria beyond the overview photograph, without extending it to all of Belek.
Chapter 4 of 6Experiences nearby
What can you explore at a comfortable pace?
Choose one or two experiences and leave time for the sea. “Consider from” is planning advice: the route, duration and access need checking for your hotel and date.

Ancient sites without rushing
Choose a few sites you actually want to see. For each outing, check the departure base, journey, tickets, shade and breaks rather than trying to fit every ruin into one day.
Aspendos: theatre and ancient city
Aspendos in the Serik area preserves a theatre and aqueducts.
Consider from: Belek, Antalya or Side. Visiting the site and attending a performance are different plans; check any event programme separately.
Side: antiquity by the sea
Side’s archaeological sights include the theatre and Temple of Apollo.
Consider from: Side and nearby resort areas. Combine an old town walk with one museum or archaeological visit.
Phaselis: harbours among the pines
Phaselis in Tekirova has three ancient harbours, a theatre and an aqueduct.
Consider from: Kemer or Tekirova. Check access and swimming rules when combining a walk with time by the sea; the site is not a hotel’s private beach.
Ephesus: for a trip shaped by history
The archaeological site of Ephesus is on UNESCO’s World Heritage List, with the Library of Celsus and the Great Theatre among its landmarks.
Consider from: Kuşadası or Selçuk. From Bodrum, assess a separate journey; from the Antalya coast, treat it as a separate itinerary rather than a nearby outing.
Knidos: antiquity at the peninsula’s tip
Ancient Knidos stands at Cape Tekir on the Datça peninsula; the city had two harbours.
Consider from: Datça, or Marmaris with a separate itinerary. Check the full journey, walking route, shade and return time; give the outing its own place in the holiday.
Dalyan and Kaunos: river and rock tombs
Kaunos near Dalyan preserves rock tombs and a theatre. The tombs can be seen from Dalyan.
Consider from: Dalyan, Sarıgerme or Marmaris on an agreed route. A river trip and an archaeological visit are separate parts of the day: check boarding, walking and ticket inclusions.
Pergamon: a cultural day from the Aegean coast
Pergamon and its multi-layered cultural landscape in Bergama are on UNESCO’s World Heritage List, with an ancient theatre among the sights.
Consider from: İzmir or Ayvalık. Assess the journey to Bergama, climbs, heat and tour pace separately; this historical visit needs time away from the beach.

Bays and a day on the water
Match a boat outing to your accommodation and party’s needs. Check boarding, duration, shade, meals and swimming arrangements; the weather decision belongs to the particular outing.
A day exploring the bays
Göcek is a base for voyages along the Turkish coast.
Base: Göcek, Fethiye or Bodrum on a separate route. Check capacity, shade, boarding and weather cancellations.
Ölüdeniz: see the lagoon
Ölüdeniz in Fethiye is known for its beach and lagoon.
Base: Fethiye and nearby areas. Plan land and boat trips separately; the lagoon is not every hotel’s beach.

Aegean walks and active days
Match the lanes, cultural stop or watersport you want to your actual base. For sport, explain your experience level and check instruction, equipment and participation conditions.
Bodrum: castle and underwater history
Bodrum Castle houses the Museum of Underwater Archaeology.
Base: the Bodrum peninsula. Allow time for the town and harbour; assess walking and stairs with children.
Alaçatı: try windsurfing
Alaçatı has coastal windsurfing centres and schools.
Consider from: Çeşme and Alaçatı. For a first lesson, check the instructor, equipment, child ages, weather and cancellation terms; sports wind and beach comfort are different priorities.

City experiences and separate nights
A city day needs its own itinerary. Match desired places to the hotel address, transport and unplanned time; coordinate Istanbul and the coast as separate parts of the trip.
Kaleiçi: another side of Antalya
Antalya’s historic centre includes the old harbour and Hadrian’s Gate.
Consider from: Antalya, Lara or Kundu. Make room for a walk and dinner as a separate outing; avoid fitting every landmark into one visit.
Istanbul: city days before or after the coast
The historic peninsula has Hagia Sophia, the Blue Mosque, Topkapı and the Basilica Cistern. The Bosphorus adds a water route.
Base: Istanbul. Pick a few sights, check tickets and visiting rules; allow time between coastal flight connections.
Chapter 5 of 6When to go and what to check
When to go and what to check before paying?
Weather, seasonal facilities and a comfortable itinerary are separate questions. Choose dates, then check the details for the actual hotel.

An Antalya climate reference
MGM’s Antalya statistics show average daily highs around 35°C in July and August, with lower temperatures in spring and autumn. These are climate averages, not a hotel or sea forecast.
For spring or autumn dates, ask which pools are heated and whether beach restaurants, clubs and water slides operate. Check separate forecasts for Bodrum and Istanbul; Antalya’s figures do not describe all of Türkiye.
Documents for Ukrainian citizens
Türkiye’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs states that Ukrainian ordinary passport holders are visa-exempt for trips of up to 90 days. It recommends a travel document valid for at least six months from arrival. Biometric ID cards apply only to direct Ukraine → Türkiye journeys.
Check every traveller’s citizenship and document, previous days of stay, transit and carrier requirements. Other citizenships or document types have their own rules. Recheck the conditions before travelling.
A season is more than a date
Compare the air, how you want to swim and which hotel facilities you need. Climate averages help you choose an area; the actual arrangements need checking for your dates.
The Aegean coast needs its own climate reference
MGM’s İzmir climate table gives average daytime highs of 26.5°C in May, 33.8°C in July and 24.6°C in October. These are İzmir air figures, not sea temperatures in Çeşme or a forecast for your bay.
What to check
Separate three wishes when choosing dates: sightseeing without intense heat, swimming in the sea every day or using an outdoor pool. Name your priority and an acceptable alternative. Before payment, ask for the operating calendar of the facilities you need; before departure, check the local forecast. Do not substitute air temperature for an answer about the water. If swimming is the purpose of your trip, treat it as a separate selection requirement.
A beach holiday or a sightseeing trip
If the sea is your main goal, start with the month and the exact shore. If walks and historic sites matter most, first plan a few realistic outings. For a mixed trip, explain what you can compromise on and what you want to keep.
What to check
“Daily swimming with a child and a warm backup pool” is more useful than simply “travel in autumn”. For sightseeing days, state your acceptable travel time, need for shade and breaks, and whether an outing can move to another day. Leave some time after the journey and some days without a programme. This lets you compare dates and locations against your own purpose rather than someone else’s “best season”.
Check the facilities for your dates
For an early or late season trip, list the things you would not travel without: a particular outdoor pool, children’s club, waterslides, beach restaurant or evening programme. Check each requirement separately.
What to check
Ask for the current seasonal concept and a written answer for your dates. Clarify what “open” and “heated” mean, which pool the answer covers and whether operation depends on weather. Say before choosing if replacing an outdoor facility with an indoor alternative would be unacceptable. Base the decision on your requirements rather than summer photographs or a friend’s experience in a different month.
Bodrum: the month and the exact bay
WMO’s 1991-2020 climate normals for Bodrum station give average daytime highs of 26.6°C in May, 35.2°C in July and 26.4°C in October. These are station air averages, not water temperatures, a forecast or identical conditions in every bay.
What to check
State the preferred month, your tolerance of heat and how much daily sea swimming matters. For a bay hotel, check the actual shore, required pool and facility calendar. Recheck a new address rather than extending a successful stay elsewhere to it. Dates, swimming arrangements and the hotel’s pace should fit together in one plan.
Dalaman: airport weather does not describe the sea
WMO’s 1991-2020 normals for Dalaman station give average daytime highs of 27.1°C in May, 34.5°C in July and 27.5°C in October. These describe station air, not water temperatures at Sarıgerme, Fethiye or Dalyan.
What to check
Compare your purpose: the hotel beach, boat outings or a cultural day. Leave a time margin in a mixed itinerary and check the base of each outing. If a warm outdoor pool is an essential alternative to the sea, name it as a separate requirement. Before departure, check the forecast for the accommodation and planned route as well as the airport.
Çeşme: its own reference rather than Antalya figures
WMO’s 1991-2020 normals for Çeşme station show average daytime highs of 24.6°C in May, 30.8°C in July and 23.7°C in October. An air climate average does not guarantee calm conditions or a sea temperature you find comfortable.
What to check
Treat a beach day, walks and watersports as different plans. If swimming with a child is the priority, check the entry and required backup pool. For a sports programme, give your experience level and check participation conditions. Ask when your hotel’s required facilities open; the name Çeşme or İzmir is not their operating calendar.
Ayvalık: check the northern coast separately
WMO’s 1991-2020 normals for Ayvalık station give average daytime highs of 25.4°C in May, 33°C in July and 23.1°C in October. These are station air figures, not a forecast or water temperatures for every Ayvalık and Cunda beach.
What to check
If the plan combines the sea, walks and dinners outside the hotel, identify the preferred shore and daily route. For a late season trip, ask about essential beach facilities and a swimming alternative for weather you find uncomfortable. Choose against your itinerary. Another guest’s experience in Antalya or Bodrum does not replace checks for your dates.
Documents for the whole journey
Entry to Türkiye, transit and eligibility to leave Ukraine are separate checks. Start with every traveller’s citizenship and document rather than the general label “visa-free”.
Passport validity and previous visits
Türkiye’s MFA sets a general stay limit of 90 days in 180. Its general passport requirement is validity at least 60 days beyond the permitted stay; the example of a permitted 90-day stay requires 150 days on entry. The six-month recommendation provides a separate margin.
What to check
Count previous days in the country and check the passport expiry date before payment. Do not calculate the margin from your booking date or from the return ticket without checking the rules. Different citizenship, travel documents, longer stays or a non-tourist purpose require their own checks. Mention these circumstances in your travel request so that document requirements are addressed before boarding.
A child’s document and accompanying adult
Ukraine’s Ministry of Internal Affairs separately explains departure for children under 16 during martial law and accompanying adult requirements. A document accepted for leaving Ukraine does not automatically establish permission to enter another country or board a flight. Check the whole itinerary.
What to check
List every child’s citizenship, age, document and accompanying adult. Before agreeing the route, check current Ukrainian border service, transit country, Türkiye and carrier requirements. If the accompanying adult is not a parent or family circumstances are unusual, establish the documents needed for your situation. Do not extend a general example to a different case; resolve the requirements before buying tickets.
Choose the airport and resort together
Compare the arrival airport with the hotel address. Shared or private transfers, stops, arrival time and child seats affect the journey; one travel time cannot describe a whole region.
Antalya (AYT)
- Flight
- Arrival airport
- Transfer to the hotel
Antalya Airport connects to the road network via the D400. Check the full route to the resort, especially when the offer names Alanya.
Milas-Bodrum (BJV)
- Flight
- Arrival airport
- Transfer to the hotel
Milas-Bodrum has ground transport links to Bodrum. A town stop and a hotel in a particular bay can require different onward routes.
Dalaman (DLM)
- Flight
- Arrival airport
- Transfer to the hotel
Dalaman Airport describes bus routes to central Fethiye and Marmaris. This does not confirm a direct service to every hotel or villa.
İzmir Adnan Menderes (ADB)
- Flight
- Arrival airport
- Transfer to the hotel
İzmir Airport has ground transport connections. Agree the onward route to the actual hotel in Çeşme, Alaçatı or Kuşadası; transport into İzmir does not describe the whole resort transfer.
Gazipaşa-Alanya (GZP)
- Flight
- Arrival airport
- Transfer to the hotel
Gazipaşa-Alanya is a separate airport. For Alanya, compare offers by the exact airport code, connections and full journey to the hotel; an airport’s existence does not confirm a suitable flight.
From home to your room
The most convenient flight does not always make the most convenient trip. Compare both complete journeys: ground travel, connections, baggage, transfers and when your room will be available.
Ground travel and an airport outside Ukraine
If your route starts with ground travel to an airport abroad, compare that leg together with the flight. Specify your starting city, transport, any overnight stop and the margin before check-in. These are parts of the trip just like the transfer in Türkiye.
What to check
Ask for every leg in both directions, baggage arrangements, the connection point and a delay plan. Check eligibility to leave Ukraine, each transit country’s rules and the child’s documents separately. Visa-free entry to Türkiye does not answer those questions. If tickets are bought separately, ask who would assist after a missed onward leg and under which conditions. Resolve this before treating the itinerary as complete.
Baggage depends on the ticket package
On international Pegasus flights, Light includes only a small underseat bag; it does not include a cabin suitcase or checked baggage. Other packages have different inclusions. This is one airline’s example, not a rule for every flight to Türkiye.
What to check
The offer should show the weight, dimensions and number of bags for every traveller and leg. Check arrangements for a pushchair, sports equipment and extra baggage if needed. Compare the final amount including seats and baggage, alongside change and refund rules. A low starting fare is not enough to make a decision when items you need must be added later.
Night arrivals and room access
For a night or early morning arrival, check the accommodation start date and room access time as well as the transfer. For the return journey, compare room checkout, departure from the hotel and the flight.
What to check
Ask how the meeting works after a delay, who to contact and what waiting rules apply. Check early check-in, late checkout and meals outside the main schedule separately; do not assume they are included. For children, specify the required car seat and whether a stop is needed. When comparing trips with the same number of nights, consider the usable time you expect to spend at the hotel.
Start with an actual departure airport
At the check date, Ukrainian airspace is closed to civil flights. The active EASA bulletin refers to a Ukrainian NOTAM; the restriction also covers civil landings and departures. Build the journey to Türkiye around an actual available airport.
What to check
Give your starting city and acceptable ground journey rather than an assumed departure from a nearby Ukrainian airport. Compare airports abroad against the entire trip, including transit, overnight stops, baggage and the return. Check each flight’s current schedule separately. The general possibility of a route does not establish tickets, price or availability for chosen dates.
Chapter 6 of 6Your comfort details
Which details will make the holiday yours?
Mark the details you want checked during planning. These are requests to clarify terms, rather than confirmation of an included service.

Private transfer
Ask for the full price, vehicle type, luggage capacity, meeting point and arrangements for a delayed flight.
Child seats for the transfer
State the children’s ages and seat requirements. Confirm seat availability, type and cost before agreeing to the transfer.
Check room location
Check the route to the beach, restaurants and children’s club, including stairs or lifts. A sea view does not describe the route through the grounds.
Check pool heating
Ask which pool is heated and on which dates. Do not assume a shared pool’s terms also apply to a villa pool, or vice versa.
Check dietary requirements
Add important dietary requirements in the planner. Menus, preparation methods and whether the request can be accommodated need confirmation with the hotel.
Your wishes will appear in the planner summary. Continuing does not open a contact form or send anything by itself.
