Greece tours

Crete, Rhodes or Corfu? The actual coast and everyday journey from your hotel matter for a beach holiday. Mark places to explore and leave time for the sea instead of crossing the island every day.

Ideas for your trip

Greece beyond the familiar route

Choose one area that interests you and leave time to look around. These three different routes can shape your trip; they are not a suggestion to fit everything into one day.

Places for another story

Open a place that catches your eye to discover its character and ideas for your trip.

Places: 3
Pelion: mountains beside the sea

Pelion brings wooded slopes together with the Aegean Sea and Pagasetic Gulf. Makrinitsa, Portaria and Tsagarada add stone houses, village squares and fountains to the landscape.

Zagori: the stone villages of Epirus

Zagori’s villages sit among the Pindus mountains and forests. Stone houses and arched bridges define their character, with Vikos Gorge forming part of the region’s landscape.

Mani: another side of the Peloponnese

In Mani, consider Areopoli with its stone tower houses and the town of Gythio. Exploring the towns’ architecture could make a change from another day on the beach.

A day you will want to remember

Leave room for something new: a walk, time on the water, local stories and small discoveries.

Pelion’s squares and fountains

Choose Makrinitsa or Tsagarada for a walk among stone mansions, paved squares and old plane trees. Leave time to linger instead of spending the whole day moving between villages.

Zagori’s stone bridges

Make an old arched bridge a reason for an outing rather than just a photo stop. Bridges spanning rivers and ravines are part of the local architecture.

Areopoli and Gythio

Start with Areopoli’s tower houses and treat Gythio as a separate town walk. Decide where you would like to spend more time before planning the journey between them.

Three islands, different possibilities

Picture your day on holiday

Wake up by the sea, linger over breakfast or head straight out to explore? Tell us how you like to spend a holiday. These few details will help you choose a stay that feels right for you.

Beach

Do you love a long swim or a walk along the shore? If children are coming, tell us what kind of water access works for them.

Before choosing a hotel, check the walk from your room to the water, including any steps, road or jetty. A beach photo may leave that part out.

Room

Does one person turn in early while another likes to read? A separate bedroom or the right bed layout can make the stay easier for everyone.

Save the exact name of the room you like, then check its beds and where everyone will sleep. An extra bed may be different from the main ones.

Meals

Days by the pool and long days out call for different meal plans. Start with how much time you want to spend at the hotel.

Check serving times and which drinks your plan includes. For a full-day outing, think ahead about where you will have breakfast and lunch.

Travellers and price

Tell us who is travelling, the children’s ages and the amount you would like to spend for everyone. If your dates are flexible, add that too.

When comparing options, look beyond the room. Check whether transport, luggage and transfers are included, and which costs you will pay during the trip.

A convenient base for your days

Mark your hotel, beach and a few places for walks on a map. If they are far apart, decide whether time by the sea or exploring matters most. Compare hotels within a particular area, rather than just on the same island.

  • An island or mainland resort
  • Sand, pebbles and water access
  • Walking routes or transport
  • Meals that fit your daily plans

Choose meals around your plans

If you expect to spend full days away from the hotel, compare breakfast with other meal options. Check the actual flight, transfer and check-in arrangements before choosing. Consider seasonal conditions for your particular coast and dates.

Questions before you choose

Is choosing an island enough?

No. The area, your hotel’s shore and the journey from the airport matter. A famous beach on the opposite side of the island may not be convenient for daily outings.

What should I include in the total tour cost?

Use the same party, dates, room and meals. A per-person price differs from the total for everyone. Allow for included services and mandatory supplements.

Can I start without exact dates?

Yes. Write down your travel preferences and review them. Then click “Add contact details”, enter your phone number or email and send your enquiry. Check dates and other trip details before sending.

Where can I find entry document requirements?

Before travelling, check the destination, transit countries and carrier requirements for your documents and dates. Rules can change, so check them again closer to departure.
